Golf Cart Mirrors
Golf cart mirrors are a great accessory to add that will increase visibility for the driver. And many
state laws require street legal golf carts and NEVs to have certain mirrors to adhere to their driving laws.
Regardless of street laws, having mirrors helps to increase golf cart safety by giving the driver more
tools to assist in maneuvering.
There are only a few golf cart mirrors on the market today:
- Four to Five Panel Rearview Mirrors
These mirrors mount to the frame of your golf cart top and stretch from one side to the next. This
accessory eliminates blind spots and aids in reversing. The mounting hardware is specific to the type
of cart you have.
Side Mirrors
These types of mirrors are more common on street legal golf carts and they look very similar to the side
mirrors you'd see on regular cars and trucks.
They are usually sold as singles and you can mount them to either side of your cart. Or you can buy two
of them and mount one to each side. Golf cart side mirrors are more common for street legal golf carts
and carts that tend to drive through heavy traffic, such as
golf cart communities.
Unless you are purchasing your golf cart street legal ready, it probably won't come equipped with rearview
or side mirrors. So if you find yourself always craning your neck to see what's behind you, then you may
want to save the strain by installing some golf cart mirrors.
